Update: The All-Time Heist





The All-Time Heist Update has arrived! The level cap has been increased to 75, unlocking brand-new powers for every class along with an additional Epic Talent for companions.

All mainline content beyond Valencia Part 2 now awards XP, making progression more rewarding than ever. You’ll also find new badges, quality-of-life improvements, polished animations, and plenty more tweaks to enhance your adventures. Check out the update notes to learn more!

KingsIsle will be at booth #733 at PAX West from August 29th through September 1st, 2025.

Get a sneak peek at our new upcoming game – Ravenwood Academy: A Wizard101 Story! Everyone who plays through the demo will receive a FREE exclusive Ravenwood Academy branded light up lanyard and student ID card (while supplies last). Please note that this demo shows a look at the game in early development, things will continue to take shape as time passes and the game gets closer to launch!

In addition to demoing Ravenwood Academy, we’ll also be demoing Wizard101 on console, bringing back older (now unavailable) plushies, and have a couple of opportunities for community members to meet the devs behind their favorite games.

New Valencian Victory Booster Pack!



Clockwork conquest awaits! The NEW Valencian Victory Booster Pack has arrived, giving pirates the chance to recruit five brand-new Valencia companions. Alongside its powerful companions, the pack is loaded with treasures from Valencia.

Featured Creator: piecesofchess



For August 2025, we’re excited to spotlight piecesofchess, or "Chess," a dedicated Pirate101 fan artist! Chess began making fan art for Wizard101 and eventually for Pirate101 after it’s release in 2012. Since then, they have been creating comics and illustrations featuring the companions and the Armada.

Chess works with both traditional and digital media, blending a cartoon style for digital pieces with a more realistic approach in pencil. They carefully plan their work, often starting with rough sketches before refining lines and adding shading, and frequently use references to enhance details and anatomy. Their favorite subjects are drawn from the Armada, where practicing character design and body types has helped them grow as an artist.

One of Chess’s most meaningful pieces is their Subodai fanart, created with Mistubishi pencils, shaded in grayscale, and capturing Subodai at his last promotion.

Beyond their artwork, Chess is deeply involved in the Pirate101 community. They participate in art trades, zines, secret santas, and they are in the Extra Credits program.

Whether through comics, standalone illustrations, or community projects, Chess’s work continues to celebrate the creativity and charm of Pirate101. If you haven’t seen Chess’s work yet, now is the perfect time to explore their fanart and see the Armada come to life!
