Esperenza Drighton and Her Three Brothers (3.2) by Blaze Collins
Author's note: I have several characters listed below. One of the characters can start a story and another can finish. I put this here so you won't be confused. I own all these characters, so don't worry.
I know, this may sound strange, but I think Blaze was somehow changed. His memory was, well, cleared. I think the Armada may have done it. I may just be over thinking this, though. He could have just been shot down by the Armada, washed on shore with amnesia, I won't know until we get his memory back, though. I missed Blaze, I really did, but it doesn't seem like he's here. Like he's vanished, but still here. It's... strange. I just want to bring Blaze back. I miss him.
Today I took him to Grizzleheim. It's the earliest of his memories I know of. I think he remembered some things. Like watching the stars and being yelled at in the orphanage. The orphanage, just thinking about it sends chills down my spine.
I also took him to the cove. He seemed to remember some things too, but his memory isn't fully jogged, though. At the cove we ran into Monkey King. I think he might be a bit suspicious of Blaze though, had he seen through my lie?
Errol took Blaze to some places just the boys went to. I can only imagine where that was. I talked with Pilar most of the day, though. We just talked. She was the only member of the crew who knows about Blaze, I'm not sure it can be kept that way though. Time will tell. Pilar said we most likely will have to tell the crew, I'm not sure they're gonna like what they hear. What's the easiest way to say, "I lied to you and I actually had a boyfriend who I thought was dead but he actually isn't so oops"?
I can't believe I'm going to have to do this.
Evan and Elijah started looking through the attic for anything that might belong to Blaze, it could jog his memory or something. But there are a lot of things in the attic, so it's going to take a bit. There's only one thing left I can think of, but I'll wait 'till tomorrow to test it, while everyone is away.
I played the song Blaze made for me before he vanished. Then Blaze stared at the wall, and passed out. When he woke up, he was laying down on the log at the top of the highest point on the cove. I thought the air up there was the coldest, so he would wake up easier there.
"You okay Blaze?" I asked.
"Esperanza?" said Blaze.
"Esperanza, I-I can't believe it."
"What can't you believe?"
"I-I can remember. I can remember all of it."
"Oh Blaze." I walked to him, and hugged him, tears were running now, "I missed you."
