I have a few thoughts on this quest's maintenance, even though little involves Monquista, & it's in Book 5. Hear this, & bear with me.

1. During the conversation with Captain Steed before accepting the quest, Ratbeard should appear while saying his line, "Didn't we see a Unicorn at St. Bonobo's Abbey?", & the cutscene camera should focus on him while saying that line, too.

2. While talking to Brother Varo in St. Bonobo's Abbey, the cutscene camera should focus on him while he said his line, "Listen well, for I break a vow to tell you this. Marco Pollo was the keeper of a terrible secret. He burdened me with it in the hour of his death.".
