On my privateer it was high time I had completed Old Scratchers promotion quest so I went off to face the dark crawler!

Jack was my only melee so I sent him out to deal a blow against the scorpion, it was a poor move on my part as the Dark Crawler had decently defended his attempted chain and now everyone was surrounding Lucky Jack Russell and attacking him, finally the last Shackled Soul attempted to attack Lucky Jack, he hit him and Jack had only a slither of health left, vengeance strike triggered and Jack chained and killed the Shackled Soul, whilst having to block 2 attacks from the soul without a dodge buff.

When the next turn came around Lucky Jack Russel has 9 health, I thought he had earned an absorb and he lived through the entire fight
