Before I start, I have searched the message boards to see if there is already a poem thread. If someone else has this idea, please dont strike me dead.

The first poem is about my crew, who sailed skies with me endless blue:

Sailing the endless skies, daring deeds await
Helping citizens cries, with Subodai my first mate.

Then there was Bonnie, she was number two
Along came Sarah Steele, a swash for my crew

Milo Gray tail came next, scurvy but loyal was he
For you see my pirate, had decided to let him free

Then I fought some bones, his name was Old Scratch
He was dead like Davy Jones, but he had met his match

Then came Ratbeard, he almost fell in fire
I rescued him then, for his siutation was dire

El Toro came next, honor was his code
His heroicness and bravery, would never ever erode.

Buffalo Bill joined the team, a gun was his friend
A part of the Mag 7, his legend will never end!

Then came the lord of apes, yes its the monkey king
I never really got why bananas wasn't his thing!

Gracie Conrad then joined, to fight an armada force
She hated them 100%, and showed no remorse.

Hawkules Hawkules, the greek hero of old,
Brave but clutzy, but ever so bold!

Together we are a team, and we can defeat King Kane
For our epicness and bravery our just PURE INSANE!

Well this is my poem, its about my crew, but feel to post anything... from old ideas to new!

''One word..............Awesome! Wait, hold that thought ... Guys! Take a look at this!
The crew rushes in to the room and look at the screen.
Subodai just smiles, Sarah and Bonnie looked at each other.
'' Ah, Milo'' says Birgus '' You have a good lad on your crew.
'' Golden Guardian speaks the truth about I and I'' says Ol' Scratch.
'' Great. I almost got that out of me head'' murmurs Ratbeard '' But It is true.
'' I'm pleased'' comments Toro'' You have a talent''
'' That's right'' Says Bill who just read about the Mag. 7.
'' True'' agrees Gracie, spinning her key.
''
Clutzy?!'' comments Hawkules.
'' Ha, ha. True also'' Toro loughs.

*Adds to clapping and bows in respect.* Very well done. Lots of emotion and memories are well wrapped up in this. I can tell you put a lot of work into this and I can really feel your enjoyment of the game. Simply beautiful. *Tosses a bouquet onto the stage.*

Me first ship
She's a raft
Leave a tip?
To fix the wall, I feel a draft.

I bought some new gear.
Yes, I went and got some new gear.
Can you lend an ear?
Here's what I got fer Gear!

First, me raft got sails.
Rudder for tails.
Cannons n' the like, for sales!

Figurehead, yes, an' a wheel!!!\

Now me ship be no Raft.
She be a galleon,
An' there be no draft.

Wow great Poems guys! They are really nice! For those of you who want to know, my poems take 10 minutes to do so. Here is one about El Toro, a swashbuckling magnifo!:

El Toro, El Toro, A legend of the west
El Toro, El Toro, The Best of the Best

El Toro, El Toro, Master of the blade
El Toro, El Toro, His bravery will never fade

He protects the weak, he fights for good
Just like any hero should!

El Toro, El Toro, saviour of Santo Pollo!
El Toro, El Toro, fear to all evil foe!

El Toro, El Toro, who fights evil as a task
El Toro, El Toro, Honour behind his mask

El Toro, El Toro, phantom of the night
Dressed in dark, strong and proud, my oh my he's quite a sight!

P.S: I just realised there is a Songs of The Skyway Thread by Highlander Fox of Avalon. If he/she wishes this thread to be locked, then please make this thread withdrawn.

I just realized something. The title rhymes.

Ah! I'm jealous of everyone's skills to write poetry. I mean, I could, but it takes me such a long time to do so, and all of the poems I write are related to Wizard101. I applaud you all. Ah, I'll post a poem here when I have one. XD

I wouldn't be too worried about stepping on any toes. Songs and poetry are two very different things. Besides hers is asking what songs we like that connect with the feeling of the game. Yours is on creating poetry about it. Quite different. I think it is a great and unique thread.

Hello everyone, its nice to see your poems of p101. Well this maybe my last poem, and then I maybe done:

Shadows and the silence, fill the spooky air,
Grief and haunting violence, in a place of despair...

Black is the night, and Black is the day,
The sun is never in sight, you will never see its ray.

Screams and tortured moans, in a land so dark.
Pain full groans, the werewolves bark.

Death is the skies, danger forevermore
Silent cries, in the land of Darkmoor.

Terror lies in the land, the skeltons arise.
Magic in witches' hand, Evil in werwolves eyes.

Darkmoor Darkmoor, A place of fear and death
Darkmoor Darkmoor, fear its evil breath

I had an idea for an opening line to a poem.

In Aquila once an eagle dwelled ...

Anyone have any ideas for the rest?

This will not be, in any way, relevant to pirate101. It came from the deep zones of the soul, and is published in a small little poetry contest book. I wrote it myself, for the record. No one seems to get how deep it goes.

Love's Fatal Harmony

From the brave soul I uses to be,
To the dark shadows, never to see,
The companions I used to hold so dear,
Faded away in my own facade of fear.

I reminisce in the harmony,
Of the concert hall's sweet melody.
Violins play, never to end,
Shattering my heart, never to mend.

I grasp the blade I used to wield,
Memorandum of faith that began to yield.
Swift notes of music once sincere,
Blended to song of lies I can no longer hear.

But all of this now is naught but a dream,
That has just snapped at the seam.
Now here alone is where I reside,
Never to hope, always to hide.

What do you think?

Ciao!

In Aquila once, an eagle dwelled,
With a bow and an arrow, she excelled

Fierce was her grace, and a legend was she
Of the mighty eagle race, brilliant as can be.

Evil fears her spirt, her hand and her bow
Radiant is she, her goodness will glow.

Her arrow never misses, an assassin she was
All for justice, to fight for good was her cause.

The eagles shout her name, the daughter of Athena,
Their cries of joy: "Hail Zeena, Hail Zeena!"

So my dear Calamity Finch, that is the legend of zeena the great,
Some day your heroicness, will have a poem of grand fate.

Now, this is the story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just bind to a fountain
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town
Called Skull Mountain

In West Albion, born and raised
At the embassy was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all practicing swordplay outside of school
When a couple of guys
Who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little duel and Deacon got scared
He said "you're movin' to prison in Valencian air"

I begged and pleaded with him day after day
But he clapped me in irons and sent me on my way
He gave me a look and he gave my my ticket
Then Boochbeard came aboard and said "You might as well kick it"

Hey Avery, yo this is bad
Drinking Yum juice out of a champagne glass
is this what the people of Skull Mountain living like?
Hmm, this might be all right

But wait, I hear the Troggies, Cutthroats and all that
Is this the type of place that they should send this cool cat?
I don't think so
I'll see when I'm joustin'
I hope they're prepared for the prince of Skull Mountain

When the boat docked and when I came out
There was a dude who looked like a pirate standing with my name out
I'm not trying to get robbed yet
I just got here!
I sprang with quickness, like lightning disappeared

I whistled for a boat and when it came-fast
The sails said fresh and it had dice on the mast
If anything I can say is that this ship was uncommon
Then I thought 'Man, forget it'- 'Take me to Skull Mountain'

I docked up at Fin Dorsal's about seven or eight
And I yelled to the shark "Yo homes, smell you later"
I looked to my kingdom
And I left Fin's old dungeon
To sit as my throne as the Prince of Skull Mountain
