Hey!

Saw P101 is finally having some tournament specialists here (Bloody Wolf Ashburn) so I made this thread as a pre-alert to any tournaments. Making a new thread takes at least one day, two at the most but posting takes much shorter.

Remember! This is only to alert about the threads coming. Just please only post Tourney name, date, and what prize (if there is one) will be given to the winner(s).

Regulations should only be on the thread of the tournament in my eyes.

Hope many tournaments will be mentioned here, and many people will like them,

Salut!

OOOh, this might get real interesting.
By the way, to help those who do not know about it too much (myself included), how exactly does the Tournaments work? If I may be so bold to ask?

There is a Tournament Host (say Bloody Wolf Ashburn) that organizes a group of people together. These people are anyone that wants to compete in the tournament. If the tournament is a team tournament (2v2, 3v3, 4v4) then the people get split into teams (or they already have a team prepared). If it's going to be 1v1, then they skip that step. The contestants then fight each other, one match at a time. Whoever wins moves on to the next match, and if they win the next match they get to move on. When someone loses, they cannot continue in the tournament. Whoever wins the last match wins a prize or the honor for winning the tournament.

Say for example, there are eight people in a 1v1 tournament. There will be four initial matches. Whoever wins in one of the four matches will move on to the next match, and the losers cannot move on. Since there can only be four winners, those four winner will do another match. This time, there are only two matches going on. Whoever wins in those matches move on. Those two people compete and whoever wins is declared the winner of the tournament. If the host decides that the winner has to fight him/herself, then the winner and the host will do one final match. Whether or not the host decides to give the prize to the person even if they lose that match depends on what the host says.

I hope this didn't confuse you, and that I answered the question you had in mind.

Tounaments are where many compete to win prizes or other things.

Tournaments go on until one team or one person wins, multiple teams or people can win according to regulation of said tournament. Rounds until the final are elimination rounds, last round shows who is #1. They are tests of skill, might, and tactics, making the best (winner) rewarded in some way.

I'm not exactly the expert so if someone sees fault in my definition please tell.

Hope this explain Obeah!
