Hey fellow Pirates and all you KI employees. I have an idea for you.
Drum roll please!
Dundundundundundundundun!
Video game references!
It's a great idea.
I mean, KI has made several references to pop culture.
Why not include references to video games?
I have my first idea to propose to you.
References to the Kirby series.
Kirby is a popular video game series with awesome characters.
I was thinking they could be used for a side questline.
Here's the roles they could fill.
The characters could be a group of travelers arriving in Polaris.
The character based on Kirby could be the leader who uses air related powers.
The character based on Meta Knight could be a knight from Avalon or somewhere similar who uses a cape to fly and do other things that Meta Knight could do with his cape.
The character based on King Dedede could be a penguin since after all, Dedede looks a lot like a penguin. He could use a hammer to fight enemies.
The character based on Waddle Dee could be a friend of Dedede who uses a spear to fight. He could be a shorter penguin.
And finally, there could be a character based on recently introduced character, the wizard Magolor.
So what do you think?
Should there be more detail?
If this is a good idea, let me know.
And in the meantime everyone can post their suggestions.

I do not care in the slightest. Why Well because the pop culture references in my opinion are good enough.

I'm not saying the current references aren't good. I'm just saying that this would be a good idea for future use.

In addition, they could be recruited at the end of the questline.
Character based on Kirby: Privateer.
Meta Knight: Swashbuckler.
Dedede: Buccaneer.
Waddle Dee: Musketeer.
Magolor: Witchdoctor.
The ones that are not recruited can be purchased via the Crown Shop.
What do you think?
Are they maybe good enough to reach the main story and become main characters?
If so, let me know.
I know it is a long shot, so I will not be surprised if they do not make the cut.

I only asked once. Why would I ask again? Please don't be rude or negative on the forums.

They did make a vague reference to Pokemon when Monkey King, reffering to the Turtle Balls, syas, "Gotta collect them all."
