Two Eagle companions as a Musketeer

So if you do Aquila and are a musketeer you should know you end up obtaining two eagle companions.

The first is just a generic eagle archer with solid stats. But in Aquila during a side quest everyone gets Queen Zeena who to me is much better in almost every way.

My concern is why do us Musketeers get a generic eagle archer? I wish we got like a snake archer from Aquila I think are called Ophdian archers or something similar. (Mind my spelling if it is wrong).

I feel it would be better if Musketeers get something else rather than another eagle. To me it does not feel special getting another eagle as a companion where in fact all of us can get something better.

What do you all think?

We all want companions who look cool or we think may do better damage. Three classes get a companion from the Ophidian Palace quest. ( Bucks, Muskets & Privys. ) All those companions are pretty generic for their class, as well. Witchdoctors get a Flame Dancer & Bucklers get an Eagle Gladiator ( generic swashbuckler. ).

I wanted a Satyr or a Harpy for my witch. I do believe that Muskets are lacking companions in the melee department.
But since it's been 3+ years simse Aquila was released, I don't think we'll be getting anymore companions from AQ.

Not all companions are "special" -- some are meant to be workhorses. Some pirate captains enjoy having additional companions who can train Rank 3 of Cannoneer and be put on the Sailing task for maximum effect.

Some companions are regarded as cannonfodder - like summoned creatures -- against mobs that must be defeated before a boss battle. Not wanting to "waste" their A-team against such mobs, some pirate captains use these "lesser" companions to distract or delay the enemies' approach while they buff themselves and use powers to devastate those enemies.

There are also many pirates who never do side quests and so they never do recruit Zeena -- Imagine that!

i'd love to have a Vulture Slinger on my crew. they'd be more powerful than the watermole slinger.
