Reflective or Splash Damage on Heavy Armor

Only privateers and buccaneers can equip heavy armor and both lack up close damage and fancy talents such as the swashbuckler gets. It would be kind of nice to have reflective or splash damage added to heavy armor that can return around 1/3rd of the damage taken, or has a chance to. Perhaps it it should only be against melee attacks, though reflective could mean a bullet richochets back or a spell mirrors back. Such damage would be for single target/hit spells and not for area of effects.

Seasnake, you really should do a bit more research before you keep posting the same thing over and over again about privateers. How exactly is 3 assassin strike cards, a sneak attack card, criticals, heals, valors armor, valors fortress, and everything else the Privateers get not enough?

Also, Buccaneers do get Vengeance, although, they really need a lot more accuracy given to them for that to work effectively, with all the dodge of a swashbuckler. However, KI is looking at the classes and will determine if anything is needed to help strengthen a class and make it more balanced for PVP.

Splash damage and reflective damage is a good idea, I think. And would make heavy armor users a lot more unique. :)

But yes, I do have to say that making extra powers and extra cards to compensate on the fly is probably not something that will happen soon. Until then the best you can do is try to use what you DO get.

Although, that poster that I quoted could be saying things in a nicer way.
