Water Temple ( guardian staff not dropping)

KI,

Please check into the loot and the probabliltly of a drop of this item. I have been camping this all week over 20 hours guessing i did the battle about 400+ times Maxed all my companions selling items and such. The spear has not dropped please confirm this item is in the loot table so we know to keep trying for it or if its a lost cause.

It is still dropped, both my Buccaneer and Witchdoctor got his staff while they had the quest to do so, but I sold the one my Buccaneer had because it was weaker than the damage of his current weapon.
