arroyo grande west glitch

hello I am a privateer and I cant get a quest in arroyo grand west. I have completed cool ranch and I have not done one quest there please help and if I cant get the quest I cant get eric jolly a privateer only companion

please help

Hi!

Make sure you've talked to Adam Jolly in Arroyo Grande West. You'll have to complete a quest or two with him before you can get that quest from Ben Jolly. If you're still having a problem collecting this quest, please contact support@pirate101.com for more assistance.

I don't think the Jollys talk to anyone until you bring them their mail. Look for the Postmaster in Cooper's Roost to start those side quests.
