This was so weird. I picked up my Candy Cane Dragon pet who was already mature. Then in few mins, I get this notification that it has hatched. I double checked and both of the names are correct. It said "Mighty Holly has hatched". And that's the name of my already mature Candy Cane Dragon pet that I had in my backpack.
