Do Epics Stack?

It's just as the title says, do epic talents stack up against each other? Say I have the weapon from the cutthroat bundle which gives me pirate as a bonus talent, and i'm a buccaneer with pirate 3, would the pirate i get from my weapon give me an additional 25%+ in damage to my already 50%+ damage and 50%+ accuracy from my own talent when i invade an enemy ship? Or maybe I have a item that give me vengeance strike when i already have vengeance strike 3, would I get 4 hits instead of 3?

Item based epics do indeed stack, but in a different way than you might think.

Take Metal Guardian's sword, for example, which gives First Strike. A Swashbuckler, having First Strike 2 (3 uses) as a class epic using Metal Guardian's Blade and facing four enemy attacks in one round will look like this:

-First Strike
-First Strike
-Attack
-First strike
-Attack
-First Strike
-Attack
-Attack

So the First Strike granted from the blade will actually trigger in addition to the class granted ability on the first attack. I haven't tried this, but I predict that a third First Strike would be granted by placing a witchdoctor's Crow/Raven buff on the above character.

In my experience as a player, I'd say yes-they do stack. For proof of this I used Crow's song on Kan Po. Kan Po already knows Riposte so he gained an additional Riposte. Both Ripostes did activate. In theory, both Pirates should activate too.

sry, they will not :P thats why i fuss about friar sand unyielding hirigana because it is a big choppy weapon made for buccaneers, but when you use the ability of it it gives invulnerability and everyone in your 9-square radius vengeance strike, but any buck than can use it will already have vstrike lvl 2 so that part will be useless :P

anyone who says it will is mislead sry :P

well no coolster its becasue he did have riposte lvl 2 but if and when he does get ripv2 it will be useless to him(appart from the first strike)
