Warning: This post contains Math. Skip to "Haywire Shot" if you want to avoid it.

So one day I got bored and decided to do a little Math in Pirate101. Haywire Shot was the first thing that came to mind due to how powerful a single shot could be. So I thought, "Just how OP can I make this?" and proceeded to boost my Haywire Musket's damage and agility until I reach its maximum Weapon Damage, then I cycled through gears and weapons until I got one that gives Firstmate Boon +308 and OH BOY you won't believe what I discovered.

Haywire Companion
Base Damage = (248 + 15 + 15 + 7 + 3) = 278
Agility Bonus = 18.8% of Base Damage (Since it had 94 Agility and for each 5 point adds 1%)
Weapon Power = 278 + 52 = 330

If you add 308 weapon damage to the Haywire Musket, it's Weapon Power becomes 586 + (18.8% of 586) = 696. Therefore... since Haywire Shot can deal either 2X or 3X the current Weapon Power.

Haywire Shot
Normal = 1392 or 2088
Epic = 1851 or 2777
Mega = 2311 or 2784
Super = 2784 or 4176 (Alot won't you say?)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But it doesn't stop there!
If you went Hidden first, Firstmate Boon becomes +595. Turning the Haywire Musket Weapon Power to 1037. Therefore...

Haywire Shot
Normal = 2074 or 3111
Epic = 2758 or 4138
Mega = 3443 or 4148
Super = 4148 or 6222 (Capable of 1-Shotting most opponents)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now what if the Booned Haywire Companion was already hidden?
If the Haywire Companion was already hidden thanks to a Swashbuckler and his Black Fog. The calculation becomes ((278 X 2) + 595) + (18.8% of 278). Making it's Weapon Power 1367.

Haywire Shot
Normal = 2734 or 4101
Epic = 3636 or 5454
Mega = 4538 or 6808
Super = 5468 or 8202 (A full health Privateer with one Valor's Fortress active won't be able to survive this)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What if the Booned Haywire Companion went hidden AFTER being booned?
The calculation changed. It becomes ((278 + 595) X 2) + (18.8% of 278). Sky-Rocketing its Weapon Power to 2022 and the Haywire Shot becomes scary at this point

Haywire Shot
Normal = 4044 or 6066
Epic = 5379 or 8068
Mega = 6713 or 10070
Super = 8088 or 12132 (I call this the "Goodbye" Shot)
What's even worse is that you can pull this off in 2 rounds minimum if you're a Swashbuckler with the Haywire Musket Companion and have a friend who's a Privateer.

1) Let a Privateer who knows Walk in Shadows and Firstmate Boon go first.
2) Have him go Hidden (1st Round)
3) Let him use Firstmate Boon on your Haywire Musket (2nd Round)
4) Use Black Fog on your Musket (still 2nd Round)
5) Have the Musket use Haywire Shot (still 2nd Round)
And keep in mind. I didn't factor in the Agility Buffs you can give it. If you do, it deals even more damage!

Surprising and impressive, but with two flaws:
While Swashbucklers have Black Fog and can hide their Haywire Musketeer Companion, they don't get First Mate's Boon.
Conversely, Privateers can buff their Haywire companions with First Mate's Boon, but they don't have Black Fog.
Unless, you're speaking of a scenario where a swashbuckler and privy team up to enhance this companion? Then I see this as an amazing strategy for PVE, not so much for PVP.
Post Edit: I see now that you're referring to PVP matches in the Spar Chamber and not Ranked matches.

Hehehe, thanks for all that math mate. Now since I do have the companions, let's say me and a Privateer go destroy the Spar Chamber!

If haywire shot spread to more than one square you would be able to win the fight in one shot. I call it the "rest in pieces shot"

so you describing where 2 teams enter battle royale and demolish? not supposed to be set up like that.. but k :/ if ya gonna do it right and fair best be official 2v2 that way the set that might not be "quietly teamed" wont kill the other off leaving your team to demolish them raking in mega scrip and shaking hands after.. its piratey but eh for that matter give me a non nerfed arena doubloons etc anything goes and it'll be harder to raze the newcomers to pvp.. eh nvm >.< got pulled in again.. my bad
