I agree - I can't believe that there are maxed players who have avoided recruiting her simply because some other players haven't figured out her strengths.

She is recruited by following a side quest that start with Constable Shao in the Subata Temple (he stands in the courtyard as you enter). It doesn't become available until after you finish The Fog of War in the Ashen Roads - Book 12. Here is a link to the wiki page:

Good Luck!

Subata Temple, speak to the Constable in front of Lord Chagatai's Palace.
And I completely agree about companions - level, train and promote them and even the "useless" ones can step in when favorites are resting. ( Even Nurse Quinn )

I just got her. She is like Monkey King, but 10 times better.

Yes, totally agreed. I used to call companions "duds" and "no good" but they actually can be made good in different situations. They may not be the best in some situations but they are in others. Each one has a few strengths and a few weaknesses. On my level 58 privateer Shuriku Neko is my first companion, and same with my friend who is a level 58 buck. And, I think she will stay in our top 6 or 7 for awhile, maybe lifetime. I don't regret doing the side quest to get her. Not one bit.

Im Just saying, One of the Best Companions, She can par with El Toro with damage and even has a sure strike, although she does not have a special flag power that gives I think, 50% Dodge and Accuracy Boost. Other than that, she is also Marleybonian and Mooshu for those who love both.

She's ok, I have her about 3rd or 4th in line of replacement, not a fan or sarah, but can get the job done (usually never play long enough to have her in though, the few times I have, she's done her part, she's a lot better since they gave her 2 starting epics, and the level 55 one as well)

I agree.

I just recruited her, and she is definitely in my top three companions. I think everyone has their own tastes in companions. For example, witchdoctors often adore Old Scratch, but Buccaneers, or maybe just me, prefer up front specialists like Peter Quint or El Toro.

I've always been wanting to get her ever since I saw my friend have her, and I even changed my flag so the colors would fit her outfit more. I finally got her and she's very useful in my role plays.
