Yellow- er, hello! This thread is a play off of this thread by G.G. Here's a free sample.

"Peacemakers"
An original poem by Thunder
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Who are the legends that flow through the West?
That after Cooper's Roost they rose past the best?
The leader of the bunch whose guns top all,
His guns after unfortunate events became his fall.
Now the team had no leader, and they scattered throughout time,
Then one unusual pirate united them without crime.
He was a Musketeer, a hero of speed,
The six were united under the pirate's need.
The pirate wielded the guns of old,
The Seven stood at the Wild Base bold.
The guns no longer a hero's end,
To the pirate's will the gun's will bend.
Driving out the horse's cruel deed,
The Musketeer left, with a pirate's creed.
Now the Seven finally had found their taker,
And it all started with one Peacemaker.
Cheers!
Your story is now.
A thousand years, you ready?
The dreaming ones await.
Freed, from the spiral of death.
Freed, from the journey of tests.
Freed, from the final sacrifice.
Someday the dream will end.
(A short poem of I wrote based on Square Enix's video game Final Fantasy X. To understand it would take a bit of explanation if you have not played the game.)
(I'm just gonna explain the poem...)
Your story is now.
The main character often says 'This is my story.'
A thousand years, you ready?
The main character believes he was sent forwards a thousand years in time.
The dreaming ones await.
The Fayth, spirits of people whose dreams manifest as reality. They want to stop dreaming and rest.
Freed, from the spiral of death.
The summoners in Spira kill themselves and a guardian to defeat Sin. Sin is reborn from the way they defeat it.
Freed, from the journey of tests.
The Summoners Pilgrimage, where they are tested endlessly by fiends and sinspawn.
Freed, from the final sacrifice.
Summoners sacrifice their lives to defeat Sin.
Someday the dream will end.
The Fayth, dreaming, want to stop dreaming and rest.
Shipmates and lubbers, gather and hear,
The song of this pirate balladeer,
T'was but two years ago, when I set on this trek excitin',
with flyin' ships, companions and quests so invitin'
Who knew that a scallywag bold lurked in my breast?
Or that I had a wish for adventure, treasure and dangerous quest?
KingsIsle did, and that's the truth!
The popularity of this game is solid proof!
