Message board ranks?

I was wondering what those ranks were, like I've seen gunners mate and first mate on the message boards.
so can anyone tell me what those mean

The ranks are for how much you have posted on the forums. I'm not sure how many posts gets you to Gunner's mate or first mate.

Information from a prior thread:
0-49 = Ensign
50-99 = Petty Officer
100-199 = Lieutenant
200-299 = Gunner's Mate
300-399 = Bosun
400-499 = First Mate
500 all the way to 999 = ?
1000-? = Admiral

Wow, how many posts are on this subject?

Apparently 500 is Captain, so I am going to surmise that the next would be Admiral.

What's your guess?
