So if the immortals gave the Eagles wind stones wouldn't the Eagles of Aquila know where the stormgate to el dorado would appear, and then why did a chicken know where it is not an eagle? If the Eagles did all this they should have some knowledge unless it's forgotten the immortals of Aquila should sure know how to get there? I feel like something is missing because the Eagles should know this?

The question is: when was El Dorado built? Is it older or newer than Aquila ( an old civilization.) Plus, there was a long time between the destruction of the Old Aquilan Empire ( a sort of "Dark Ages" ) and before the rise of Aquilus and the return to glory of Nova Aquila, so, perhaps that knowledge was lost when the Old Empire fell.
You forget that Marco Pollo was a student of Cao Tzu and used the knowledge he gained to make the original map to El Dorado.

Hmm, well I suppose future journeys will answer it then, it would be cool if we briefly revisited Aquila on some knowledge of where we could find El Dorado, after all woukd the Eagles want such information to be lost?

It's not that they wanted this knowledge to be lost, but maybe the scrolls containing the knowledge or the one who taught such knowledge was lost with the destruction of Old Aquila during the rampage of the Minotaur.
Consider the fall of the Roman Empire and the descent into Europe's Dark Ages - much of Rome's engineering technology was lost for centuries.

Eagles are not known for their memories or intellectual prowess... they are, after all, bird brains.
